Ottawa Citizen – Dining Out: Asian Alley serves some pho of note in the ByWard Market

Dining Out: Asian Alley serves some pho of note in the ByWard Market

It didn’t dawn on us that we were being actively reviewed by a prominent food critic and his friends. It wasn’t a dead giveaway that 2 fully grown men were going camera crazy on every meal, and asking a lot of questions. But then again, so do a lot of our regular foodie customers. Laksa has made a solid mainstay now, and so is our coconut chicken curry bowl. Thank you every for the feedback and support. Loves!

Although I have been here many many times now, I haven’t revisited the reviews. I must say I am now totally in love with the Beef Rendang offering. Such a unique and balanced flavour. I switch between Rendang, Braised Veal, and Tandoori Chicken. That tandoori chicken is better than most Indian places, smh. Looks like they are installing some additional Chefs. Exciting times. Can’t wait for their Steam Bao to come back, and seems like there is Laksa on temporarily on the menu now.
All the best of Asia right here.
